For Skype lessons, all you need is a computer with high speed internet, speakers or headphones, webcam and microphone. All Skype lessons are 1 hr long and can be purchased as a single session or as a discounted package. Once purchased, your lessons will remain on file & available for scheduling with no expiration date.* Once your lessons have been purchased, we will establish contact via email or phone, to discuss your current ability and goals. For all Skype lessons, you will first receive an email with information that will help create the right mindset and better prepare you for your lessons with Jason. This email will help you get familiar with the terminology that will be used, give you a jump start on some of the techniques that will be used and help make your lesson time as productive as possible.

A vocal recording device is highly recommended for best results (does not have to be high quality)
If your budget or location doesn’t allow in studio or Skype lessons as an option, then email/phone lessons is a great alternative. Once purchased, Jason will contact you with the initial assessment and discuss your current ability, experience and goals and a plan for your sessions will be laid out. Each session includes the initial assessment of your current ability, a detailed, instructional email that is targeted to you personally and also includes a final assessment of your practice and progress. Once your session begins, Jason will assess your current ability and you will receive the initial email with detailed vocal instruction and specific things to be working on. According to the student and the laid out session plan, this could include specific songs, exercises, scales or many other various instructional topics. After the student has practiced their “homework” and when they feel they are ready to present their results, Jason will give the final assessment of their practice and progress. There is no expiration date on the sessions, so students can feel free to take as much time as needed before the final assessment. For best results, it is highly recommended that the student present a vocal and/or video recording for the initial and final assessment. This recording does not have to be high quality.
